This is my own personal opinion and does not represent any 501(c)(3) organization I am affiliated with.
When I met Casey Cass through Dancing with the Martin Stars, I quickly saw the kind of person he is.
Casey didn’t just give to our team. He gave to the organization, the competition, and even to other dancers’ fundraising goals. I would show up to practice and he would already be there, dance shoes on, ready to go. It didn’t matter if he had worked late, driven from across the state, or been in Miami at 3 a.m. He showed up.
And he showed up with a servant’s heart.
When Casey shared why he was dancing, it stayed with me. His mother suffered from postpartum depression and lost her life because of that struggle. He was raised by his father, and he wasn’t there for recognition or glory. He was there to give, to serve, and to help make the world better than he found it.
That is exactly why I believe he is running. If we are fortunate enough to have Casey Cass’s leadership on our County Commission, I believe we will see a true servant leader giving his time, talent, and treasure.
Casey Cass has my full support.
